Bobby E Il Gattino Coraggioso is the Italian version of Bobby and the Courageous Kitten.

This is based on a true story of friendship between a kitten and an American boy.

It happens in Venice, Italy, where Bobby's father works. A big storm floods the city and the surrounding little islands. The kitten is washed away but he is saved by Signor Bartolo, the restaurant owner, who wants to get rid of him, because he bothers the customers.

Bobby's family goes to that restaurant for a delicious meal. Bobby finds the kitten and falls in love with him. He takes him home after some difficulties with his mother. Soon, Bobby has to go back to America and must leave his little friend.

From this story, children will learn about another culture, about the love of family and friendship and to persevere, with courage, during difficult times.
